Town Clerk Announcements regarding November 5th election

The Town of Dalton Board of Registrars would like its residents/voters to know that for the upcoming:

State Election to be held on November 5, 2024 at The Dalton Senior Center, 40 Field Street Ext. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Early voting by mail – If you are a registered voter, you should have received an application from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to request a ballot by mail for early voting. 

The deadline to register to vote in the State Election on November 5, 2024, is October 26, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.  in the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 462 Main Street, Dalton.

In person early voting for the State Election will be held October 19, through October 31, 2024, as follows:

                Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 9 a.m.  to 3 p.m.

                Monday through Thurs., October 21 through October 24, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

                Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

                Monday through Thurs., October 28 through October 31, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be NO in person early voting hours on Fridays.

All in person early voting hours listed above will be held in the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 462 Main Street, Dalton, Massachusetts.

If you are not yet a registered voter, or have any questions or concerns, please contact the Town Clerk’s office at 413-684-6111 Ext. 210 or Ext. 212.  We can mail you an application to register to vote, as well as a vote by mail application.
