The cemeteries in the Town of Dalton include Ashuelot, Main Street, Fairview, and East Main Street.

Directions from Main Street (Routes 8/9):

Ashuelot: located at end of Ashuelot Street. Take Park Avenue, then left on Ashuelot Street to end.

Main Street: located at corner of Main and Park Avenue. Enter from Main, Park, or take Flansburg Avenue from Main and then left on Willis Street.

Fairview: located on Curtis Street. Take Curtis from Main. Entrance is on left across from Pinegrove Park.

East Main Street: located on Main Street east of Depot Street. No longer used.

Cemetery matters are governed by the Cemetery Board of Trustees, whose 3 members are elected for a 3-year term. Current members are listed in the Elected Officers list maintained by the Town Clerk’s office. The trustees normally meet on the second Monday of each month at 10:00 am at the Main Street Cemetery office. You may contact the trustees at daltoncemeterytrustees@dalton-ma.gov
