Dalton Day- Saturday, July 15th

This is BIG!!!!

The Dalton Cultural Committee was recently awarded a grant to sponsor Dalton Day, a new event that aims to highlight everything our wonderful community has to offer, including local businesses, restaurants, programs and committees. The project will take place on July 15, 2023, from 1 to 5 p.m. on the Dalton Senior Center lawn and is slated to also feature a large entertainment tent with something for everyone!

Although we’ve reached out to many local establishments, we may not have contacted every business in the area. If you would like to be involved with this unique, town-wide project, please contact Mary Ferrell who is listed at the bottom of this email. Some ways that you can be a part of this day include showcasing your business via a pop-up tent that you provide; offering discounted or free samples; food or drink for sale; or just giving out information.

Our team has been working for months on this project to celebrate Dalton and we’ve already lined up prominent musical acts: Melissa Brinton, The Lucky Five and Jack Waldheim. Family activities will be plentiful as well, from the kiddos touring a local fire truck to snacking on Sweet Pea’s ice cream!
